What We Can Learn From Women’s Golf-LPGA Golfers

Yani Tseng driving 2011womens australian golf openHow often have you watched female golfers in a tournament? I happened to watch the women’s Australian open this year and saw Yani Tseng from Taipee, the 2010 LPGA player of the year and winner of two majors in that year and current world number 5, win the 2011 Women’s Australian Open for the second time, back to back by 7 strokes from her nearest rival, who happens to be the current world number one, Jiyai Shin from Korea.

As I watched I asked myself, ‘What is it that sets these women in particular, apart from the rest on the LPGA tour, why do they dominate so many of the world’s tournaments, many of them are just over 5 feet tall, Jiyai Shin the world number one from Korea, is only 5ft 1 inch tall, yet their domination of women’s golf worldwide is unmatched.

Golf Instruction Lessons Will Improve Your Golf!

Let’s talk about why it may be a good idea to either, take some golf instruction lessons from your local Pga pro, or invest a small sum into a golf instruction book online. Which is a better option for ‘your’ game?

Signing up for golf instruction lessons, may be the smartest move a Golf Instruction Lessonsbeginner or intermediate golfer can ever make. Getting involved in a golfswing lesson from a pga pro, will definitely improve your golf skills. Best of all, signing up for lessons like these will almost guarantee to lower the golfer’s score, on, and around the greens.

You could attempt to self-teach, by constantly practicing night and day, but are you practicing the right swing techniques, in the right way? You might just be reinforcing bad habits and a less optimal golf swing. However, it’s almost certain that doing it yourself, in the wrong way, without any professional advice, will keep you stuck in the same handicap range and you will continue making the same swing mistakes. Or, if you have the capacity and inclination to get professional golfswing lessons from a golf instruction book, quickly and easily when you want, right from your computer, why not invest in one today.

You might sign up for lessons with a pro golfer, simply because you would want to learn from the best in the field. The P.G.A, or the ‘Professional Golfers Association’ consists of pro golfers that have been officially certified by the association. Those instructors who graduate from the Pga, are trained in everything related to optimizing your golfswing, making them well qualified to teach prospective golfers the correct swing techniques.

Of course I am referring to the human body. The initial position you would begin in, is the foundation, therefore let’s chat, firstly, about the feet. Let’s see how much apart they are intended to be, then precisely where we position the weight once we get the feet planted.

The feet have to maintain the upper body once the golf club, the arms, as well as the body, get moving. During the downswing there is a lot of energy that the foundation has to sustain. The feet have to be only a little further away from each other than shoulder width. This distance is far enough apart to preserve a rock-solid base.

Address to Narrow1. Slightly More Than Shoulder Width

As the golf club begins to build up momentum and the left hip creates the initial move down the target line prior to it turning backward, the width of the stance will hold up just fine. If you have a propensity to lose your stability, your stance might be to narrow
